Due to the closure of companies in application of health measures, employees placed in partial activity acquire paid leave and do not have the possibility of taking their days of paid leave already acquired. They therefore accumulate CP days. This situation worried employers, in particular the hotel and catering sector. The Government responded favorably to their expectations with the implementation of this exceptional aid.
Exceptional state aid: eligible companies
This financial assistance is intended for companies whose main activity involves welcoming the public and whose health measures put in place by the State have resulted in:
the ban on welcoming the public to all or part of their establishment for a total period of at least 140 days between January 1 and December 31, 2020; or a loss of turnover achieved during the periods when the state of health emergency was declared of at least 90% compared to that achieved during the same periods in 2019.
