How to make the invisible visible? Everything that falls under formal learning is usually visible in our systems (qualifications, diplomas), but what is acquired in non-formal and informal contexts is often inaudible or invisible.
The objective of the open badge is to offer a tool for the recognition of the person which makes it possible to make visible their informal learning, but also their skills, achievements, commitments, values and aspirations.
Its challenge: to take into account informal recognition within communities of practice or territory and thus create an open ecosystem of recognition.
