The state of health emergency and the containment measures to combat the spread of Covid-19 raise questions for the 3,4 million individual employers.
Is it possible to continue to bring their employee home? Nannies, carers, household helpers, etc. do they have a right of withdrawal or a right to partial unemployment? Under what conditions? Here are the answers to your questions.
Can your home employee come and work for you?
Yes. Confinement does not prevent the home employee from coming to your home (outside of hours when all traffic could be prohibited, of course). If teleworking is not possible, travel for business purposes is authorized. Your employee must have a certificate on honor of exceptional travel every time he comes to your place as well as a proof of business trip that you will need to complete. This last document is valid for the duration of the confinement.
