During the state of health emergency last spring, daily social security benefits were paid without waiting period. But since July 10, the suspension of the waiting period had ended. Insureds again had to wait three days in the private sector and one day in the civil service before being able to benefit from daily sickness benefits. Only those identified as "contact cases" subject to an isolation measure continued to benefit from the elimination of the waiting period until October 10.
