This MOOC presents an engineering degree in Data Science from CY Tech, a five-year training course dedicated to Data Science. It begins with four years in English in the Bachelor Data Science by Design, and continues with a year of specialization in French at the engineering school CY Tech (ex-EISTI).
The “data”, the data, occupy an increasingly important place within the strategies of many companies or public organizations. Performance monitoring, behavior analysis, discovery of new market opportunities: the applications are multiple, and interest various sectors. From e-commerce to finance, via transport, research or health, organizations need talents trained in the collection, storage, but also in the processing and modeling of data.
With a solid background in mathematics and a project-based pedagogy centered on programming, the engineering diploma obtained at the end of the fifth year of school (carried out after the Bachelor's degree) gives access to different professions.
