European law plays an increasing role in internal labor law (notably through European directives and the case law of the two European supreme courts). The movement can no longer be ignored since the start of the application of the Lisbon Treaty (December 1, 2009). The media more and more often echo debates which have their sources in European social law.

Knowledge of European labor law is therefore an important added value for legal training and in practice within companies.
