Evolution of the CSPN certification process (first level security certification)

The archiving of CSPN certificates makes it possible to take into account the rapid and constant evolution of the threat and attack techniques.

The validity period of a CSPN certificate is now fixed at 3 years, it is then automatically archived.
This action by the national certification center makes it possible to ensure consistency with the provisions taken by the Cybersecurity Act, in the perspective that this evaluation methodology correspond in the years to come to a new European scheme.

This approach is also part of the upcoming ratification of the Franco-German recognition agreement for CSPN certificates and their German equivalents BSZ (Beschleunigte Sicherheitszertifizierung, Accelerated Security Certification); where BSZ certificates have a validity period of 2 years.
