How to proceed

It is sometimes practical to be able to distribute an email at a later date, in order to avoid, for example, sending a message to a contact person too late in the evening or too early in the morning. With Gmail, it is possible to schedule the sending of an email so that it is sent at the most convenient time. If you want to learn more about this feature, feel free to check out the video.

To schedule an email to be sent with Gmail, simply create a new message and fill in the recipient, subject, and body of the message as usual. Instead of clicking on “send”, you have to click on the small arrow next to the button and select “schedule sending”. You can then define the most appropriate time to send the message, either by selecting a predefined time (tomorrow morning, tomorrow afternoon, etc.), or by defining a personalized date and time.

It is possible to modify or cancel a scheduled mailing by going to the “scheduled” tab and selecting the message concerned. You can then make the necessary changes and reschedule the shipment if you wish.

This feature can be very useful to save time by anticipating the creation of certain emails and to distribute our messages at more relevant times. Good idea to optimize your use of Gmail!
