The objective of this course is to present what psychology is, what are its main sectors, and the various possible outlets.
Many students register for a license in psychology having a vague, restricted, even mistaken idea of what psychology is at university: what content is taught? Is it true that there is math? What jobs after the training? They may sometimes be surprised to discover, from the very first lessons, that it does not really correspond to what they had imagined.

Our main objective is therefore to present in general terms what psychology and the profession of psychologist are, as well as other possible outlets. This course can therefore be seen as a general introduction to psychology, a non-exhaustive overview of objects, methods and fields of application. Its aim is to improve the dissemination of information to the general public, to provide better guidance for students in this field, and ultimately to achieve better success.
