After several months of business research, Tom, apprentice in the first year of Master Mega Data and Social Analysis, won his apprenticeship contract at the beginning of January 2021. He shares with us his journey, his personal approaches, the support he received by the CFA du Cnam, and its advice to encourage young people without an apprenticeship contract to find a work-study program!

My journey

“Tom, I am 25 years old, I am in the first year of Master Mega Data and Social Analysis. After a degree in History in Lyon and a first master's degree in book trades, I moved to Paris to work in a Contemporary History library for 2 years. I processed data from documents (books, postcards, photographs, etc.) to put them in online catalogs. I gradually became interested in data management and analysis and decided to join the Cnam CFA to deepen my knowledge in this field.

Since the beginning of January 2021, I have found my work-study program as an assistant in charge of missions within the “Corporate and brands” division at Occurrence. Occurrence is a communication research and consulting firm, whose role is to help other companies optimize their communication strategy.
