Many trades related to the sea are practiced on land, sometimes even hundreds of kilometers from the coast. Intended to highlight the diversity of activities in the maritime sector, this MOOC will shed light on them according to four major societal concerns: Preserving, Developing, Feeding and Navigating.
How to get involved to meet the challenges posed by the preservation of marine resources, the development of activities on the coast or renewable marine energies? Beyond engineers and technicians, why are economists, geographers, jurists, ethnologists and geologists also on the front line to meet the challenges posed by the increased vulnerability of coastal territories?
