The French overseas territories must today take up several challenges, affecting the ecological, economic and social aspects.
This course provides a better understanding of this need for sustainable development in the French Overseas Territories, and it aims to show that people and actors are already involved in these questions, in all overseas territories.
This course is made up of 3 parts:
The 1st part explains to you what the 17 Sustainable Development Goals are, universal, indivisible, a true compass of sustainable development at the international level.
Reducing vulnerability to global change, fighting poverty and exclusion, controlling waste and pollution, taking up the challenge of carbon neutrality: the 2nd part presents the major challenges of sustainable development and transition to be taken up for all territories overseas.
Finally, the 3rd part brings you testimonials from committed people and actors, partnership initiatives developed in the three oceans.
