Catering for employees outside the Covid-19 period

The conditions of catering for employees are different depending on whether the company has 50 employees or not.

Company with at least 50 employees

In companies with at least 50 employees, you must, after consulting the CSE, provide employees with catering premises:

which is provided with a sufficient number of seats and tables; which includes a drinking water tap, fresh and hot, for 10 users; and which has a means of preserving or refrigerating food and drink and an installation for reheating meals.

It is forbidden to let workers eat their meals in the premises assigned to work.

You can meet your obligations in different ways: a kitchen where employees can eat their meals, but also a canteen or a refectory within the company, or a company restaurant.

Company with less than 50 employees
