Acoustics are ubiquitous in our daily lives and are receiving increasing attention. Do you want to discover the basics in an innovative and fun way and perhaps take up a challenge?
Created by Le Mans University, as part of Le Mans Acoustique, the MOOC “The basics of acoustics: the voice in all its states” is based on the official scientific baccalaureate program and can be used as a support by teachers. The basic notions of the program will be deployed over four chapters dealing with the notions of wave, frequency, sampling, etc.
This MOOC is not a voice MOOC. The voice is a pretext to approach acoustics.
In this MOOC, you learn by viewing instructional videos, solving exercises, performing experiments and also viewing the weekly MOOC journal. To make the MOOC fun and attractive, the course will be based on a common thread which will consist in learning how to modify your voice physically or digitally.
