Transfer of DIF hours to the CPF: reminders

Since 2015, the personal training account (CPF) replaces the individual right to training (DIF).

For people who were employees in 2014, it is their responsibility to take the necessary steps to transfer their rights under the DIF to their personal training account. Transposition to the CPF is not automatic.

If employees do not take this step, their acquired rights will be permanently lost.

You should know that originally, the transfer had to be made no later than December 31, 2020. But additional time was granted. The employees concerned have until June 30, 2021.

Transfer of DIF hours to the CPF: companies can inform employees

In order to make holders of rights aware of the DIF, the Ministry of Labor is launching an information campaign among employees, as well as companies, professional federations and social partners.

Under certain conditions, until December 31, 2014, employees could acquire up to 20 hours of DIF entitlement per year, up to a maximum limit of 120 cumulative hours.
