Vaccination of employees: reduced age group

The occupational health services can vaccinate employees since February 25, 2021 with the AstraZeneca vaccine.

Originally, this vaccination campaign was open to employees aged 50 to 64 inclusive with co-morbidities.

From now on, the High Authority for Health recommends using the AstraZeneca vaccine only for people aged 55 and over.

The occupational physician, who must observe the rules relating to the prioritization of the audiences targeted by this vaccination campaign, can now only vaccinate people aged 55 to 64 inclusive with co-morbidities.

Know that you cannot impose vaccination on your employees. In fact, your occupational health service can only vaccinate voluntary employees who meet the conditions related to their state of health and age.

Before taking action, the occupational physician must verify that the employee is eligible for this vaccination campaign.
Thus, even if he knows the employee's state of health, it is recommended that employees come to their appointment with the documents justifying their pathology.
