The scientific discoveries of recent decades on the emotions or intelligence of other animals lead us to look at them differently. They call into question the gap that has arisen between humans and animals and call for a redefinition of our interactions with other animals.

Changing human-animal relationships is anything but obvious. This requires jointly mobilizing the biological sciences and the human and social sciences such as anthropology, law and economics. And this requires understanding the interplay of actors associated with these subjects, which bring about conflicts and controversies.

Following the success of session 1 (2020), which brought together more than 8000 learners, we are offering you a new session of this MOOC, enriched with eight new videos on very current issues such as zoonoses, One Health, relationships with dogs around the world, animal empathy, cognitive biases in our relationship with animals, education in animal ethics or the mobilization of civil society around these issues.
