Paid leave: exceptional state aid
This exceptional financial assistance to cover leave is intended for companies whose main activity involves welcoming the public and whose health measures put in place by the State have resulted in:
the ban on welcoming the public to all or part of their establishment for a total period of at least 140 days between January 1 and December 31, 2020; or a loss of turnover achieved during the periods when the state of health emergency was declared of at least 90% compared to that achieved during the same periods in 2019.
The amount of the aid is equal, for each employee and per day of paid leave taken within the limit of 10 days of leave, to 70% of the paid leave allowance related to an hourly amount and, limited to 4,5 hourly minimum wage.
The hourly amount cannot be less than 8,11 euros, except for employees on an apprenticeship and professionalization contract.
