On Tuesday March 9, 2021, La Filière Française de l'Eau published in partnership and co-financing with the Ministry of Employment, Labor and Integration a PIC EDEC study conducted by Ernst & Young, focused on employment, skills and training by 2025. This very rich publication is an opportunity to rediscover the variety of trades and career paths possible in a water sector that recruits all players.

The study covers the largest perimeter of the actors of the French Water Sector throughout the national territory, as well as on the large and small water cycle.  : public and private water management services, engineering service providers, industrialists and specialized equipment suppliers, building constructors, delegating authorities, institutional players in the sector, training and research.

124 FTEs and around a hundred trades
With 124 jobs in 000, the players in the French water sector cover a wide variety of professions. The sector has more than a hundred although it does not have a unified reference system. This translates a higher level of diversification of their needs to ensure all of its missions, compared to other similar sectors.
