Its aim is a better understanding of the disciplines and professions of robotics with the ambition of helping high school students in their orientation. Robotics is seen as one of the key technologies for the future. It is at the crossroads of several sciences and technologies: mechanics, electronics, computer science, artificial intelligence, automation, optronics, embedded software, energy, nanomaterials, connectors... The diversity of the fields to which robotics appeals, makes it possible to move towards a wide range of trades ranging from the automation or robotics technician to the customer support engineer for technical assistance, the software developer or the robotics engineer, not to mention all the trades related to production, maintenance and offices of studies. This MOOC provides an overview of the fields of intervention and sectors of activity for exercising these professions.
