Aid for hiring young people: extension until May 31, 2021
Until March 31, 2021, you can benefit, under certain conditions, from financial assistance if you hire a young person under the age of 26 whose remuneration is less than or equal to 2 times the minimum wage. This aid can go up to €4000 over 1 year for a full-time employee.
In order to maintain the mobilization of companies in favor of youth, the Ministry of Labor has announced a further extension of this aid until May 31, 2021. However, from April 1, 2021 to May 31, 2021, this aid should only be granted for wages limited to 1,6 minimum wage in a logic of gradual withdrawal of aid.
Exceptional work-study assistance: extension until December 31, 2021
Exceptional assistance may be granted to you, under certain conditions if you recruit an apprentice or an employee on a professionalization contract. This aid, which amounts to 5000 or 8000 euros depending on the case, was recently renewed but only for the month of March 2021 (see our article "Aid for apprenticeship and professionalization contracts: a new system for March 2021 ").
